3-D Iterations

My original idea was to create an Organic design but I realized with a Geometric model I could achieve a better Representation of the mouse.

Full Size Tape Ups

When creating the full sized Tape Ups most of my time was spent making sure the Proportions of all of the Elements of the mask were Cohesive.

Tabbing

The final mask Design had to be held together by Friction Fit tabs rather than Tape.

Detail Work

Once I had the final form, I worked to Refine the details of the mask to create more Points of Interest throughout the mask. I added a Cheese Design to the strap and gave the eyes more Personality.

Illustrator File Prep

To create our final mask, the design was Fabricated by a CNC Machine. To produce the file our hand cut designs were placed underneath a sheet of Plexiglass and Photographed. Then the photos were traced in Illustrator making sure to include Tabs.

Creating Instructions

When designing the Instructions I utilized Visual Cues and Text to help the user create the mask. The Instructions were also given an Ascetic design that would Align with the mask and make them Fun for a Younger Audience.
